Join the Freedom to Learn Network this Thursday at 7:30pm ET for a Virtual Rally — our final Road to May 3rd Homeroom! Our program will start with a moderated pre-show with highlights from our activations last year, some of the best mic drop moments from our Homerooms and special calls to get you ready and excited for the May 3rd National Day of Action.   This evening of activation, amplification, and inspiration will uplift the vital need for action on May 3rd in defense of racial justice, education, and democracy. We will be joined by prominent advocates for civil rights and multiracial democracy Representative Ayanna Pressley and Representative Jamie Raskin, as well as leaders of major civil rights organizations, including Reverend Al Sharpton from National Action Network, Shavon Arline Bradley from the National Council on Negro Women, Melanie Campbell from the National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, Damon Hewitt from the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, David Johns from National Black Justice Coalition, Marc Morial from the National Urban League, Adam Taylor from Sojourners, as well as Morgan State University student Thalya Baptiste.
