Rally for the Freedom to Learn & Banned Book Reading

Please join us in a Freedom to Learn Rally. Public education is under attack. So are ideas. Join us to speak out against nationwide efforts to undermine critical thinking. What we read, study, and teach matters!
The Freedom to Learn Rally includes readings from banned books and is part of a National Day of Action on Wednesday, May 3rd. The Rally will take place from 12-1 pm on the South Green—Memorial Hall Steps.
Please share this widely with students, faculty, and staff. All are invited to attend and, even better, volunteer to give a brief speech or read from one of the hundreds of books that have been banned across the nation (you can bring one with you or you can read from the banned books we will have available for you).
